NOTFWD @ Thunderdome 6-13-2010

On the Sunday before Father's Day, Chicagoland's Premier Cheap-o drifting event, Thunderdome @ Rockford Speedway, kicked off it's 2010 season.

nF members Bob and myself drove off to Rockford to rock the 60-dollar drift. A couple other members of the nF clan went separately. It was awesome.

NOTFWD @ Blackhawk Farms Raceway 5/29/10

On May 29th. MCSCC held an HPDE/Lapping Day at Blackhawk Farms Raceway near Rockford, IL. It was a great price for a track day, $160, so 2 nF staffers, and a couple other members went out to have a great time.

We all had an amazing time. Not much drama through the day. Unfortunately, one guy blew his motor in a C5 Z06. So many cars there. In addition to all the Spec Miata's, there was everything from classic Vette's to open wheel race-cars!
