Ken Block and Subaru pulling out of Rally America?




October 17, 2009 - Rally America rounded of their championship series in Houghton, MI. Numerous rumors surrounded rally diver, Ken Block, as the race competition took place.
In question, are Block and Subaru pulling out of Rally America?

Shaky economy, consumers tightening wallets, and sponsor companies trimming their budgets, are not the only ones worried. Past weekend, 2009 year closing Rally America event took place in Houghton, MI. Abundant rumors surrounded driver, Ken Block, as he competed to finish the Lake Superior Performance Rally. Questionable suspicions were abuzz with Block rummored to leave Rally America to compete World Rally Championships, becuase Subaru has not comfirmed, nor initiated, sponsorship for next year.

In a quick interview, Ken Block,
"hopefully next year, I'll be wearing them too(Subaru). I don't have a deal with Subaru for next year to be honest", confirmed Subaru has not initiated sponsorship for the 2010 season. When asked about the rummored leave from RA to compete in WRC, Block stated, "my sponsors would like to see me do a bit more on the road", implementing the likely possibility of moving onto WRC.
